Kalinga State University held its 32nd Commencement Exercises on May 22, 2025, at the KSU Gymnasium, recognizing the hard work and achievements of 1,036 graduates. With heartfelt words and a call to servant leadership, guest of honor and speaker Atty. Septon De La Cruz, CHED- CAR Regional Director delivered his speech.

“Tomorrow begins today,” De La Cruz told the graduating class, urging them to embrace the responsibilities that come with education. โ€œLeadership is not about titles or positions. It is about taking initiatives. It is about doing what is right, even when it is not easy. It is about lifting others as you climb.โ€

The ceremony honored a total of 1,036 graduates across the universityโ€™s colleges. The College of Advanced Studies celebrated 28 new graduates, while the College of Law conferred degrees to 21 aspiring legal professionals. A sweeping 987 undergraduate students earned degrees in various disciplines.

In his address, De La Cruz reminded the graduates of the broader community that helped them reach this day. โ€œYou are empowered today because of the sacrifices of manyโ€”your parents, your families, your teachers, our legislators, and the administration of KSU,โ€ he said.

With the inspiration of De La Cruzโ€™s message still resonating, the graduates of Kalinga State University leave their alma mater ready to lead, uplift, and serve.
