The University Guidance Week officially opened today, April 28, 2025, with a Family Mass celebrated by Fr. Roman Macaiba Jr. in front of the CTPC office. The event was organized by the Counseling, Testing, and Placement Center (CTPC) as part of a week-long series of activities aimed at promoting mental health, personal growth, and community support.
In his homily, Fr. Macaiba reflected on the importance of seeking guidance and counseling in our lives. He centered his message on three key points: Redirection, Reflection, and Transformation.
โข Redirection calls us to humble ourselves, acknowledge our mistakes and shortcomings, and open our hearts to healing.
โข Reflection urges us to learn from these experiences, allowing personal growth to take root.
โข Transformation challenges us to change for the better, becoming stronger and more compassionate versions of ourselves.
To celebrate Guidance Week, the CTPC has prepared a series of activities designed to engage the university family. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate and take part in the journey of self-awareness, healing, and transformation.
